Admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs at NITs, IIITs, Other centrally funded Technical Institutions, Institutions funded by several participating State Governments, and several other Institutions shall involve the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main). The JEE (Main) will be an eligibility test for the JEE (Advanced), which the candidate has to take if he/she is aspiring for admission to the undergraduate programmes offered by the IITs.

  1. What not seats that will fall vacant due to candidates (having secured admission in multiple places like DTU and NSITs) not reporting for final admission within the last date in respective NITs are put back into central pool and then only spot round or extra spot round be conducted by CSAB, other-wise this will be injustice with the left out JEE (Main) students
